Team video Deadline: 5 May, 5pm | Upload your video here Your team video is the chance to show a snapshot of what life is like at your company. Attendees find it a super helpful both before and during the event – it’s a great ice breaker and limits the often tedious question of “so what does your company do?”. Use the opportunity to talk about your culture, mention an office hound, your work ethics and social nights. Candidates want to know what life is actually like working with you! Top tips: Be aware of it’s length. It only needs to be between 1-2 minutes. You don’t have to spend loads on production. Film it using your phone in your lunch hour. Try and make sure it is focused on the team, company culture and working environment. Avoid marketing promo or videos advertising what your company does to clients. To really help with breaking the ice, introduce the team that will be there on the day and if possible include your stand number. Upload it to YouTube or Vimeo and make it public. Upload it to your online SMR profile and candidates can start checking you out! We’ll also play it on a big screen at the event – there will be sound but subtitles ensure nothing is missed. In need of a bit of inspiration? Check out the videos from previous events here. Please note if your video is too long or is not relevant, it won’t make it into the reel to be played at the event.
